Before flying to Vietnam, make sure that you apply for a Vietnam visa in order to enter the country. This is required by all who is not on the visa exempt list. You can do it either online, which is the most preferred option by travelers, or go to your nearest Vietnamese Embassy or Consulate. If you choose the online option, you can apply for either a Visa on Arrival or the E-Visa. Please note that the latter is only eligible for certain countries.
